Mr. Pankaj Rastogi is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Whole-Time Director of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Limited, a prominent player in India’s sugar industry. With over two decades of experience at Dalmia Bharat Sugar, he has been instrumental in steering the company’s growth and technological advancements.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Rastogi furthered his education with a postgraduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). His strong academic background complements his professional expertise, enabling him to lead with a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Rastogi has been acknowledged as a thought leader in the sugar sector. He has played a pivotal role in achieving excellence in plant operational metrics and has been a driving force behind the company’s technological leadership in the industry. His active participation in industry forums has contributed to significant policy and regulatory changes, particularly in the renewable energy space. He serves on the governing council of the Co-generation Association of India and leads the UP Sugar Mills Co-generation Association.
