Roshan Lal Tamak, the Executive Director & CEO – Sugar Business at DCM Shriram Ltd., brings over three decades of transformative experience in the Indian Sugar Sector. His strategic leadership has fostered robust growth, acquisitions and successful greenfield expansions at companies including Balrampur, Dhampur, Mawana, and Olam International.

Mr. Tamak is passionate about enhancing productivity in the sugarcane value chain and implementing best management practices. His efforts have led to significant advancements in the sector.

His leadership extends to prominent positions at ISMA and CII. His sectoral expertise has been underscored by accolades such as Best CEO of the Year in the Sugar Industry at SEIA 2024 and the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Society for Sugar Research & Promotion. Additionally, Mr. Tamak has enriched his knowledge through the Advanced Management Programme at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and IIM-Ahmedabad.
